About Me

Photography is something I've grown to love in many ways, but especially as a way to learn about design and detail, and to do it while being retired from a lifetime of work. I bought my first film SLR camera in my early 20's and never used it frequently enough to be good at it and never had the time to spend on getting better. Until the mid-1990's when I purchased my first small digital camera as they began to come to the retail marketplace. Phots were 3 megabytes in size -- a camera I have now makes photos that are 100+ megabytes in size.
